EU Deforestation Regulation – Latest developments

The EU Commission has now proposed that, subject to the adoption of the required EU legislation, the EUDR will come into force on 30 December 2025 for large and medium companies (but with a grace period of six months for checks and enforcement), followed by coming into force for micro and small enterprises on 30 December 2026.
